In the past I've played Vanguard: Saga of Heroes more than once, and gave up on it because I felt so alone on the lower levels. I hardly saw anyone of around my level wherever I walked. Most players I met were level 40 and higher. Considering that 55 is max level, and the leveling curve is quite high, it'd take me ages to catch up with those players But now with Vanguard going Free2Play, it seems that more people are thinking to get a head-start for the upcoming influx of players. Playing my rerolled character (a Dark Elf Blood Mage, just hit level 9) I see more and more players of around my level. The above picture I took 2 days ago when I started playing again, and that player was 1 level higher than me (not that I had to party at that starter area... ). And today when walking in some dungeons near Khal I've seen 4 players of my level I do think this new influx of new, lower level players does make the game more interesting indeed. Up to level 10 you can easily solo the quests, but from level 10 and up, more and more quests are meant to be played in parties to get the best rewards, as well as complete quest lines. So far I haven't yet been in need to party (as said, only level 9 so far), and the 2 party quests I found are not that good in rewards, but I will definately yell for party coming weeks to do the most fun quests available
